Hi everyone, sorry for the picture heavy post but the past weekend I was at a world music festival in Charlton Park called Womad. My mum, sister and I always go and this was our 5th year in a row and once again I had the best time! It's so nice to go to festival where you don't really know what to expect music wise and it's always exciting to discover new things. We watched folk singers, soul singers, singers from Senegal, France and other places in Africa and it was incredible, it really opens your eyes to the wider world of music.

As well as the music, the whole site is amazing, they have the main arena with lots of stalls and delicious food places (as you can see from my photos!) they also have a spa, the 'world of wellbeing' where yoga and tai chi takes place in the morning and they also have a cinema for later in the evening.

I would definitely recommend this festival to anyone and it's really family friendly too, babies as young as about 8 months old were there with their sound blocking headphones on!

Hope you liked this post,

Love, Julia
